How do I start?
It’s like I have known them forever...probably because we’re getting close to that amount of time! As I sit here reflecting on the times that I’ve photographed this family, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I first met Keisha before photography had become a personal focus of mine. It wasn't long after I discovered photography, that that Keisha met this fellow named Josh.
They graciously trusted me to photograph their wedding in 2016, though I was so new at the wedding photography thing that I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. Fortunately, there were many great photos from that early experience shooting a wedding.
The next call for photos was when their first child was born. This was another photography first for me - the whole new world of newborn photography, but Josh and Keisha both rose to the occasion and we all figured it out together.
After that, Keisha and Josh kept calling me back for family portraits, newborn photos, updated family portraits, and other milestones in their lives.
It has been so beautiful to be the documenter of their lives together, and be able to witness to the goodness of God in their lives. I’m so grateful that as I’ve grown and developed as a photographer, I’ve been able to see precious highlights of their journey of life together.
